Taco Casserole Recipe by Dana Wilson

Here is an original recipe that I created after reading about 10 different other taco casseroles. It is delicious, cheap and filling!

1 large bag of Nacho flavored Doritos chips
1 1/2 cups of lite sour cream
1 bag of “twisted” noodles (I don’t know what to call them but they are all twisty lol)
2 bags of shredded “taco blend” cheese
2 packs of taco seasoning powder
1 jar of meat flavored spaghetti sauce
1 lb of ground beef

The instructions are quite simple:
Crunch of the bag of chips till they are very fine.
Mix half of the jar of spaghetti sauce with sour cream and 1 package of taco seasoning together and set aside.
Begin browning the ground beef then mix the other taco seasoning packet with water and pour half of it onto the browning beef. Once the beef is mostly done (drain oil/fat if need be), pour the sour cream and spaghetti sauce mixture into the pan and let simmer.
During which boil your noodles.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a 9×13 glass pan, pour a light layer of crushed chips on the bottom. Add a layer of noodles, a thick layer of shredded cheese, then pour the meat and sauce over all of it. Add another layer of cheese and crushed chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
